Mission

Kwok Tak Seng Catholic Secondary School (KTS) (天主教郭得勝中學) is an aided Catholic secondary school using English as the medium of instruction (EMI) (政府津貼英文中學). Founded in 1987, we follow the educational goals of Diocesan Schools: to make the school a place filled with the spirit of the Gospel and charity, and to pass on the virtues of Chinese tradition Faithfulness, Forgiveness, Sincerity and Intelligence 「忠恕誠明」– as our school motto.

The key feature of a KTS education is to cultivate a holistic developmental environment to infuse our students with good character, ethics, a passion for life and spiritual minds. Our five core values – Truth (真理), Justice (義德), Love (愛德), Life (生命) and Family (家庭) are integral in our learning experiences. This is our mission and we believe that our students will become global citizens with integrity, discipline, respect and responsibility. We aim at developing a love of learning and unleashing their potential, so that we can empower them to realize their passion. Utilizing educational research and technology, we support diversified practices in teaching and learning to help our students capitalize on their gifts and strengths, and develop a growth mindset. We encourage students to tune into their thinking, reflect on building a greater sense of well-being and focus on their strengths, so that they can thrive and flourish in a positive and engaging environment.
